Applications are open for "Discover the Wonder of Space Exploration" hands-on SciArt Bootcamp for students aged 14-20 at UNM-Taos HIVE on March 8, 2025 from 9-5pm.
This immersive experience for young leaders blends science, technology, and art, offering a unique opportunity to delve into stellar evolution, space literacy, and Native science perspectives on the cosmos. Guided by renowned astrophysicists and digital artists, students will learn to create projection art using Tagtool to communicate complex space science concepts.
Students who complete STEMarts Bootcamps receive a STEMarts Ambassador certificate, enabling them to work as paid XR experience guides at local and international events, where they help the public interact with immersive sci-art installations.
