Santa Fe, Cibola, Carson National Forest Closures
The U.S. Forest Service announced forest-wide closure order for the Santa Fe National forest and the Carson National Forest. While the Cibola National Forest closure for Mt. Taylor, Mountainair and Sandia Range Districts.
The closure will be in effect beginning Thursday, May 19th from 8 a.m., until Dec. 31 – but could be lifted earlier. During the closure, public access is prohibited due to the ongoing active wildfires and extreme fire danger.
