Police: 1 killed in reported exchange of gunfire at business

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Albuquerque police are investigating a Friday night incident that left one person dead after a reported exchange of gunfire with the owner of a business property.
Police say officers found the dead person inside a construction vehicle after the business owner told police that he had encountered the other person on the property in northeast Albuquerque.
According to police, the business owner said he'd seen the other person casing vehicles and that there'd been an exchange of gunfire during the encounter.
No identities were released and no additional information was immediately available.
