Authorities Recover Body After Man Jumps From Taos Bridge

TAOS, N.M. (AP) — Taos authorities are investigating a possible suicide on the Taos Gorge Bridge. Taos County sheriff's deputies closed the bridge Saturday morning to foot traffic so investigators could safely recover a body. Authorities say a volunteer firefighter called Friday night after seeing a man jump off the bridge. Responding deputies located a body near the southwest side of the bridge. They also found a vehicle in the parking lot. The incident remains under investigation.
