Albuquerque Apartment Fire Displaces Residents of 4 Units

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Residents of four apartments have been displaced by a fire in a complex in southeastern Albuquerque.

Fire Department spokesman Derrick Pino says one person was taken to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. The fire broke out early Friday morning at a complex on the 6000 block of Anderson Avenue SE.

Pino says the residents had already left their apartments when firefighters arrived. He says the complex's management found places for the displaced residents to stay overnight.
