Air Traveler Sues Over Airport Searches

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.

You may not like taking off your shoes at airport security. Aaron Toby didn't, and in protest, he went further, stripping to his shorts in Richmond, Virginia. He showed off the Constitution's Fourth Amendment written on his chest, which forbids unreasonable searches. Mr. Toby was detained, and sued the government. Now, a judge has thrown out most of the suit, but the court will hear Toby's claim that his free speech rights were violated.
