New Mexico State Police: 2 walk away from juvenile facility

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — New Mexico authorities are looking for two juvenile offenders who walked away from a state facility in Albuquerque.
The State Police said Saturday that 20-year-old Zane Fernandez of Carlsbad and 17-year-old Benjamin Galindo of Roswell walked away from the Albuquerque Boys Reintegration Center.
Fernandez is described as Hispanic, 148 pounds (67 kilograms), 5-foot-5 (165 centimeters) with black hair, brown eyes and tattoos on both forearms, his right upper arm and the corners of both eyes. According to the State Police, he was committed to the facility for shooting at an occupied dwelling resulting in great bodily harm.
Galindo is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-6 (1.7 meters) 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. According to the State Police, he was committed to the facility for possession of marijuana second offense.
