Lea County Office of Emergency Management & Environmental GRASS FIRE UPDATE-
The Lea County Office of Emergency Management & Environmental posted the following update on the grass fire near Highway 380 MM 237 Fire has been contained.
Smoldering Fires will be visible in the burned area throughout the night.
There is a lot of information to go over and we will get you all more information as soon as it is all confirmed. This fire is estimated at over 12 miles long and was over 2 miles wide at the NM/TX border.
We are extremely grateful to all the agencies and departments that responded from counties all over NM and TX.
