KANW-2 To Add The Daily and Latino USA

KANW-2 is excited to add American Public Media's The Daily to its weekday lineup. Hosted by Michael Barbaro and powered by the New York Times' newsroom, The Daily brings listeners the biggest stories of our time, told by the best journalists in the world. The Daily focuses on just one or two stories each weekday, offering listeners a 30-minute, deep, textured portrait of the characters and human stakes driving the news. The Daily airs weekdays from 4:30-5:00 p.m. on KANW-2.

Also, with American Public Media's decision to end production of Marketplace Weekend, KANW-2 welcomes the addition of Latino USA to its weekend schedule. For over 25 years, Latino USA has provided a platform for Latino voices and perspectives in the radio news landscape. Hosted by the award-winning journalist, news anchor and author Maria Hinojosa, the program specializes in news, culture and storytelling that creates a space where Latino Americans hear their experiences reflected, and where non-Latinos can join the conversations happening in Latino communities. Latino USA can be heard on Sunday nights at 6:00.
