Dinner Party Download to End Production

With American Public Media's decision to end production of the Dinner Party Download, KANW-2 is excited to offer Freakonomics Radio in it's place beginning January 6, 2018. Freakonomics Radio ferrets out the connections between seemingly unrelated things. The program explores the riddles of everyday life and the weird wrinkles of human nature - from cheating and crime to parenting and sports - using the tools of economics to explore real-world behavior. Host Stephen J. Dubner discovers the hidden side of everything in interviews with Nobel laureates and provocateurs, social scientists and entrepreneurs along with his "Freakonomics" co-author, Steve Levitt. Freakonomics Radio will air Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. with an encore Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. on KANW-2.

Also, beginning Monday, January 1, 2018, KANW-2 will introduce 1A Plus - an updated, curated one-hour version of 1A designed to deliver the same impact, engagement, and topical relevance at a time not served by the live two-hour airing of 1A. 1A Plus will air Monday through Friday at 6:00 p.m.
