 Upcoming Events
KANW Radio Broadcasting Class
89.1 KANW presents the spring Radio Broadcasting Class beginning Tuesday, April 6, 2010.  This seven-week introductory course will cover commercial and non-commercial radio broadcasting, FCC rules and regulations, music selection, transmission systems, digital radio, voice technique, and much more.  You will train on KANW’s actual broadcast equipment and have the opportunity to volunteer on-the-air upon completion of the course.  Class is held at the KANW Studios in Albuquerque and meets Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00, April 6 – May 20.  The non-refundable class fee of $200 is due on the second day of class, Thursday, April 8, 2010.  For more information, contact Kevin Otero at (505) 246-0891, kevin@kanw.com, or click on the link to register online.  Class size is limited so register today for 89.1 KANW’s Radio Broadcasting Class.
